What to Expect?

We gather on Sunday mornings in the Soothill Hall at Ashville College in Harrogate. You can follow our vibrant yellow and pink signs into the car park on Yew Tree Lane and then all the way to the front door!

Watch live stream

At our Sunday Gatherings we speak about Jesus and expect His power to be at work in our lives.

There’ll be friendly people around and someone at the front will explain what’s going on at each stage of the morning. We start by singing songs of worship, normally led by a band. You’ll find we’re quite informal, often enthusiastic, and you’re welcome to participate or observe. In the second half, someone will speak about how the teaching of Jesus in the Bible affects our lives and the world around us and we usually end with a time to respond to this with worship and prayer.

Children and Youth have dedicated groups for the second half of our Gatherings.

Refreshments are served before and after and we’d love to meet you.

Kids & Youth?

We start the morning as a whole church family and then halfway through the gathering HopeKids starts. Typically, these groups meet for 45mins where they have space to connect with God themselves, have fun, play games, learn about Jesus and build relationships. We also provide a simple snack.

Our groups are:

Seedlings (2 years until school age)
Rooted (Reception to Year 1)
Connected (Year 2 to Year 3)
Arrows (Year 4 to Year 6)
The Pool (Year 7 to Year 9)

The first week of each month we stay together as a whole church family. The Pool runs on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.

Registration

When you arrive on a Sunday morning we register the kids near the front door. Here you will be given a name sticker for the child and a sticker for their responsible adult. There is a matching number on both of these stickers which allows us to ensure your child is returned safely to you or your nominated representative at the end of the gathering.
